Dr. Gavin L. Simpson
Gavin is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal and Veterinary Sciences. He is a member of the Management and Modelling section and runs ANIVET’s statistical consultancy service.
Gavin is an applied statistician whose research focuses on multivariate biological data, nonlinear relationships, and statistical modelling of complex datasets, including microbiome, metabolomics, ecological, and animal-production data.
